Ran this morning, 1st run in 9 days. Wet and drizzly - the old me would not even have gone for a walk today! However I have given up caring what I look like while running which is just as well. I wore a red fleece hat to save my hair from going frizzy in the rain and ended up with face matching the hat! Very fetching.
Did my favourite route, including a stretch along the canal, but extended it at a couple of points. I was using the Stamina podcast so I know I ran for 35 minutes.
Today I didn't stop at all! Usually I have to stop to take off a top, or open a gate, or I just need a walking break. Today I kept going - I did get warm but couldn't be bothered with the faff of talking off the jacket or fleece top.
Mapped it on mapometer when I got home and found it was 4.94k - darn! Should have kept going for another 60 metres!
Anyway, I am counting this as an unofficial pb for 5k, as my better of my 2 Parkruns so far was 39 minutes. Yay me!
