Great weight loss, well done. The Couch to 5k programme is brilliant and I have seen my fitness improve. Give it a try and take it nice and slowly

With the podcasts you run with the lovely Laura, with programme chosen music. Many like this music but not all. The music is specifically matched to the requirements of each run, you have to think about nothing except listening for Laura's instruction and putting one leg in front of the other. Most love Laura who is actually a graduate of this programme !

If you don't want Laura's music the apps allow you to use your own music but get instruction through each run. You will need to upload your music to suit.

Happy running 😃

That's a very impressive weight loss. You obviously have plenty of willpower so will get on great with C25k which is an excellent plan which has helped lots and lots of people before you. All the best. x

Welcome and well done for getting started! C25k is such a great programme. Following it is one of the best decisions you will ever make! Download he NHS C25k podcasts to get your started. Go slow, do your stretches, listen to Laura, take your rest days and you'll be a fit, toned runner before you know it!

The forum is the best place on the internet - it's full of the most amazing, inspirational people on the internet who will give you great advice and cheer you on the whole way! You can do it! :)

Great success on the weight loss ! I'm about same 10St 4lb . About 2lb off what my is for me normal BMI. Lost 3 stone over last 2 years , 10lb of it on the C25K. I am now semi-retired running 6K+ per week. Couldn't run for a bus back in March/April. Now if was back at old workplace could beat the bus home ! Very true in our rush hour !

I thought I wasn't that unfit used cycled 3 of my days to work. now have great sense of achievement and health and well being. Best thing I've done just wish had started earlier.

Everyone here will say take it easy as slow as you like and repeat any weeks if need be. You can get there.

Let us all know how you get on.
