I did go out tonight and I ran , first 2 k were hell..... I slowed and slowed nearly reversed !! 3rd km was hellish, 4th km was good, maybe I'm continuing to start off too quickly even though I feel slooooooww........
I haven't been 100% over past 36 hrs, but Irish-John as I said your post and so many others on here inspired me to get out there, so glad I've completed 4km this evening .... I'm supposed to do parkrun this weekend but I won't unless I feel more myself by then. I'm working thur, fri so doubtful I'll get out again this week .
I met loads of pooches this eve and a few young school girls who ran behind me giggling, I was so set on running and breathing I couldn't give a sugar π‘
Slimming world in the morning really hope to have shifted a lb π, hoping to get to target by Xmas that's 1/2 stone to go... Happy running this week everybody Lee337 graduation is in sight ...., sorry not a great pic took it just as I started running

It is hard going week 9 but you are so close now to graduationπππππ I struggled myself tonight like you really hard going but got to 4k so happy enough with that!! I'm doing SW too but a lot more than 7lbs to target! Like my running slowly does itππ keep going πππ& enjoy x
It's my first target that would get me to 11, but would ideally like to be 10.10 and address weight when I cross the 11 St , I've lost 1 1/2 St but it's not shifting lately but I feel really good. I'm enjoying my running but sometimes I think I'm torturing myself but love it too... Weird or what
Well done on the 4km there Cuig1975 I guess that's my next immediate target as my PB so far was on my last run and it was 3.57km in my 28 minutes. (Not that I was actually trying to do a PB. It just happened that way!) It was a nice bonus I done my PB as I really struggled around that run (especially all the slight inclines I encountered on route...that reminds me, I should really try to find a flatter route! lol).
That was in 31 mins I keep going until I hit 4 now , next aim for 4.5 and see how I go, my last run felt tough ..... We are having a love hate relationship myself and this running
