Was it panto week? Well done! I keep meaning to go, but either I have a cold or my running partner does. I am too much of a wuss to go on my own. Must man up!

Stag do apparently ! If you can make it to Lincoln ( no idea where you are ! ) I will be a friendly face, happily .. but if not then I'm sure they are all as friendly .. really all about the social running, not a race at our level ..

Sussex, so a bit far for a Saturday morning. I need to just go; I am sure I will enjoy it when I get there!

Congrats on popping your parkrun cherry

Great picture. Well done. Looks like a lot of horsing around there. Must be something in the water in Lincolnshire ! If I come I'll bring my own water.

Don't mind the friendly faces just don't want to end up looking like the back end of a horse !

But looks like you had a good time.

It was great :) .. but I was beaten by one of the horses !! :)

Well that's sealed it then Rob ! The only way were gonna get faster at this running lark is for us to get harnessed up.

But only if I can be front of panto horse !

Well done, isn't parkrun brilliant? I was marshaling this morning, and I enjoy it more than running - I get to see everyone's faces and efforts from the ridiculously speedy to the mid-pack runners to those finding it a bit harder in front of the tail runner.

I love explaining to people just out for a walk what is going on, and encouraging those needing a bit of help. We had a hen party running this morning in shiny pink satin sashes, and I don't think most of them were parkrunners, but they finished.

Thought you meant marshalling at Lincoln then !!

Ah, sorry! Got carried away with my enthusiasm for parkrun and forgot to add I was at Stratford upon Avon. I'm always amazed people can run in costume when I can only just manage it in regular gear! Great photo of the panto horses!

Always x

Park runs are great aren't they. Ours this morning had a Halloween theme - lots of runners and volunteers dressed as skeletons, witches etc. - quite bizarre if you just happened to be walking your dog!!

May see you there at some point Rob. Will avoid the back of the horse though 😁
