I have done it everyone .graduation run done and dusted this morning .Im feeling on top of the world right now. I never ever thought when I started this that I would get to the end but I have . Thanks to everyone on here giving me advice when iv needed it and speaking to people at the same stage as me has really helped me . Iv loved every minute even when iv struggled .iv never felt this healthy in years. Celebrations are definitely happening tonight. ππ
Iv done it : I have done it everyone... - Couch to 5K
Iv done it
Well done. Bet you've got your best cheesy grin on ! Mine lasted all day when I graduated. How you celebrating ? I pushed the boat out and had a Magnum (Ice cream) , was Summer time then .
It's great that sense of achievement and health and well being. Become a good habit now that I don't want to give up.
You just need a cunning plan for your post-grad phase (after celebrating of course).
Yes that cheesy grin is firmly in place for the rest of today. I'm having a few wines tonight .they're the low alcohol kind tho so not going too mad π I didn't quite reach 5 k so my aim is to eventually get up to that by building my speed up .iv definitely got the running bug.i won't be giving up any time soon .
Doesn't need to be summer to eat Magnums Joepublic - my freezer is full of them along with Tesco minis and Terrys chocolate orange ice creams!
Iv never been a lover of ice cream . I prefer a bag of crisps ha . Have you done any more runs since your first post grad run CarolStr.
Noooo (grumpy face) - was planning to go out today but chucking down with rain here Itching to run but not sure I want to get covered in mud (need to run off-road as the road through my village can be dangerous). Tomorrow's forecast looks better. I'm planning to do 30mins for each of my next two runs (just to convince myself that it wasn't a fluke!) and then next week will do one longer run, have a go at stepping stones on another and also repeat W1R1 (running fast/jogging instead of running/walking) but not sure which order yet - depends how the mood takes me
Oh I once got caught in the rain when I was running.i was soaked through. Never again hopefully . I'm hoping to get out Sunday for my first post grad run. Eek exited but looking forward to it at the same time .
Enjoy - you can have fun on this one without any pressure! I loved it - just ran for the sake of it, in the sun and the countryside. Thought I'd like to do 30 min but told myself it didn't matter if I didn't so a really nice feeling when I did 33 mins (and 4k).
Congratulations πππππwell done its a fantastic achievement so worth celebrating!!ππenjoy running ππx
Well done Teresa! It's a great feeling, isn't it? Definitely worth a celebration!
Yee ha! Brilliant. Bet you're just glowing inside. Enjoy your celebrations and keep on running. The hardest part of your running life is now behind you. x
Thankyou .I honestly love it .even at the beginning gasping after 60 seconds .iv done the whole plan running on a running track so I might try and be adventurous and run somewhere different now that I'm a proper runner π
