Bloomin' dogs ..

Been bitten on my right calf by a dog .. a German Shepherd ... MY German Shepherd no less !! He went for the tennis ball I was about to kick .. and he missed !!! Was scheduled for W9 Day 2 tomorrow .. I'm definitely going about this the hard way !!!

Oh dear! Having been previously owned by a gorgeous if boisterous German shepherd dog myself I can sympathise. Rest up and run again soon.

It's never shorts weather for me to run in - I feel muchore comfortable in tights .. so to speak !

Haha bet you never thought you would say that. I prefer capris which are calf length tights but they don't seem to do do men's ones . I did wear shorts in France and a few days here when it was hot but felt rather exposed!

i think i might know the reason they dont do mens .. :/ No matter how short any shorts I wear are, my legs still look their short self !!

Silly pooch! My lab has managed to injure himself in the forest walk today so off to the vets for an xray tonight. Fortunately only a sprain but no running for him for a few days. The guilt will kill me tomorrow when the dalmatian and I go out without him cause he isnt going to be happy! One more run to go Rob and thats you all done. Excited?

Anticipative !! Wondering how I will motivate myself when it's all done and my charity 5K is over at the end of the month .. on another note, I love Dalmatians .. had the job of photographing one in the summer, such a regal dog.

Oh dear! These things happen. Dogs have such sharp teeth don't they and it's quite easy to get nipped when they're playing. Really painful aren't they if they puncture the skin.

I dare say you will be good to go in time for your run. You will just have a bruise to mark the occasion.
