I did manage to pull myself away from my tv again, slip on my trainers and get out the door for my 2nd run of week 3.
Yes, it was tough on the lower legs again but I kept it nice and steady just like Laura said and I got through it without any major headaches.
The only slight 'hiccup' was while I was running the 2nd of the 90 seconds running bit... I noticed a nice big juicy stone right in the middle of the pathway and thought I could recreate Geoff Hurst's hat-trick scoring goal when he smashed the ball into the top corner of the goal during Englands famous 4-2 victory over Germany in the World Cup of 1966 (not that I watched it live of course - I was only a few days old!!) Anyway, I totally missed it, scuffed my trainer on the tarmac and nearly went ar$e over tit as a result! I shalln't be trying that again!
