yeah just completed the final run, luckily the rain stopped just in time, headed outside, decided to take a different route, I can't say it was easy, I had the normal oh my god I can't keep going at around 18 minutes, but I carried on . I've started this programme many times before and have always given up at around the 4 minute runs, I really think the key is to run slowly, I'm never going to reach 5k in 30 minutes but the fact that I can just keep running for 30 minutes is such an achievement. If I had any advice to newbies it would be firstly don't look ahead at the programme, especially the week that suddenly jumps to a 20 minute run. Run really slowly and if you get tired slow down, don't give a second thought to what other people think of you, you could just stay on the couch!
Don't be put off by a bad week, your next run will be better.
I always take water with me, even though I never drink it. I wear an extra top, even if it's hot,I take it off just as I start feeling tired, it takes a few minutes to remove and I feel refreshed to be suddenly cooler.i can't be the only one to do these strange things.
You can do this.
Keep going everyone seriously if I can do this anyone can.

Thanks everyone, this forum has really helped, i'm so glad i found you all, i so nearly gave up many times but have been inspired and encouraged by all your posts. Well done everyone.
Congratulations!! Well done for sticking with the programme and getting right through to the end. I love your tactic of taking a layer off and tricking yourself into forgetting you're still running! You did it! Enjoy the feeling.
