Well that wasn't so bad. Decided to ignore the shins & slow down in accordance with the wise words of the Forumers! Lovely morning, bees & butterflys out, pleasant breeze & the sun. Shins okay but noticed my thighs shouting this morning. Despite this managed both the longer bouts of running so feeling quite pleased with myself :-)

And so you should - well done! You may notice bits of you aching that didn't ache before in these early weeks. Mine started with shins and calves, then it was knees, then thighs but it's usually just your body adjusting to the extra exercise. If it's twinges and muscle fatigue, no problem but don't run if you get serious pain! Good luck with run 2 :)
