That felt good - think that's the first time I've said that...two 8 minute runs and I did it -

Yay!

Usual pattern of achey old calves and boy was I slow but my pace was steady and the last 3 minutes were uphill πŸ˜…

Feeling chuffed and finding that I am recovering faster now

Still a bit daunted by R3 which I want to do Friday morning - 20 minutes seems like a big leap but I guess Laura has taken me this far so I must put my trust in her πŸ˜€

Well done with run 2 don't worry about run 3 you are more than ready for it just keep it slow and steady and before you know it it will be over

The first time of many. I think everyone is daunted by w5r3, I know I was. I tackled it by thinking total running is actually less than 2 x 8 mins and when I get to about 8ish mins if I'm struggling I'll slow right down to barely above walking and then I can pick it up a little when I'm ready - it worked for me. You'll be fine!

You really can do it - as slow as you need it to be. Its scary but to quote another's post - you will feel very achievey afterwards.

If run 2 felt good then you're all set :) I cheated a little and used the run two podcast and then just kept going (slowly) through the 5 minute walking bit.

As others say, don't go too fast. Slow and steady works
