Eight minutes twice, who'd of thought it. On a treadmill I wouldn't have bothered writing this snippet! but for someone who found running outdoors on the hard tarmac so different, and so hard that a minute seemed like an eternity, but I've stuck with it and feel fairly confident that the W5D3 20 minute run is within my capabilities.
Week 5, Day 2........Done!!!! : Eight minutes... - Couch to 5K

That's the right attitude to see you through. Once W5D3 is complete you will know you can achieve the full 30 minutes, it's just a matter of putting in the miles (or km). Waiting for your next post......

Well done! Remember to go slow for your next one and you'll be fine! Let us know how it goes!

I've done it, I've done it, I've Done it!!! Week 5, Day 3 completed at 05.42am this morning. Decided to get up at 5am today to attempt W5D3 thinking that I have more energy in the morning than at night. I was near bounding during my warm up walk and was thinking that am I gonna go too fast. But no, steady paced round two laps of my local, near deserted, park and twenty minutes continuous running to "The Jam - Greatest Hits". Back home and treated to Mrs J to breakfast in bed.
