I finished Week4R3 last Saturday but have not managed to start Week 5 this week yet, and think it won't be until Sunday evening. I'm not ill, not injured and it isn't from apathy, the problem is Snoopy. I was volunteered by Mrs J to dog sit her friends pooch while they jet off for a week's holiday in Cyprus. 1 hour walk in the morning, 1 hour walk in the evening so still exercising but running with him is out of the question as he feels the need to stop every 20-25 metres to have a sniff, usually of something nasty or to pick up a piece of discarded litter.....He has a thing for plastic bottles. I do love you Snoop but roll on Sunday!!!
Been Dog sitting.........: I finished Week4R... - Couch to 5K
Been Dog sitting.........
Aw bless im! No it's not easy is it. They do like to do their own thing don't they. Dog walking is great exercise! An hour's walk burns tons of calories and is very good exercise. I look after a dog who likes to be out a lot, and loves long walks, and he breaks out into a jog quite often forcing me to keep up with him. We can disappear for hours. One thing about having a dog to walk is that you find out every square inch of your local area and where the footpaths and short cuts are.
I'm sure you'll have lots of fun together and all that walking will benefit you when it comes time to run.
Aw, he is so cute !
