W5R3 complete

It was a slow jog, but I've never done 20 minutes straight in my life (not even on those dreaded cross country runs at secondary school). Am giving myself the goal of reaching that landmark again by the end of W6 :)

It's a great feeling isnt it, that 20 mins continuous run.  I bet you had a huge ridiculous grin on your face afterwards :)

You should be very pleased with yourself. Well done  :)

Well done- a great achievement! I hope you're celebrating in a wonderful way, and feeling very chuffed with yourself- it's a great feeling isn't it 😀

Well done 👏👏 I managed W5R3 yesterday and feel ridiculously proud of myself. There were times when my 'running' was so slow my 82 yr old Dad (plates holding his spine together, two replacement hips and on the list for a new knee - he'll be completely bionic by the time he's 90) could have easily kept pace with me. But I kept going and hope that by the end of W6 I can outrun him😂. Good luck!

Well done :) I know that slow pace feeling so well! Most important thing is that you kept going and THAT is key :) You will naturally speed up a bit over time, that is not to be your focus though. Time spent running is far more important. Well done :)

I have just completed w5r3 this morning and also thought I have not done 20mins since  school , then realised I never ran the cross country either! I was ready to stop at 17 mins then Laura said 2 mins to go and it kept me going to the end. We will do this xx

Well done Lizzy.. 😊

That run is a breakthrough one, it feels amazing to have run for 20 mins, and you won't look back from it. Slow is best.

Keep going.x
