Blooming Bluebells

Since you lot removed my lovely injury couch, I figured I'd better shake my tush into shape! Really lovely run yesterday alongside the bluebells, added one of Charlie-dog with them, we can't wait to get out again 😊

"A fine and subtle spirit dwells

In every little flower,

Each one its own sweet feeling breathes

With more or less of power.

There is a silent eloquence

In every wild bluebell..."

One of my favourite poems... about one of my favourite flowers. :)

I aways felt she got a bit of a rough deal...I was an odd child..spent a lot of time reading poems from quite an early age..I have a lot of favourites🙂

Mine is "Best Society" (Phillip Larkin), I love the image of his refuge; gas fire hissing, clock ticking. You've made me determined to read a few more though as it's not a very sociable one :o)

Ha, just replied to you on your thread! You know which bucket I chucked the painful knee into don't you?!

Besides, I had to get my arse off the I/c in case Rignold came along to forcibly push me off it ;o)
