Hello everyone,

Feeling really happy today. Did the HBF 3 waters run in Busselton W.A. They had 50k, full marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k.

My PB 07:14.  My best so far. 5k of course.

The weatherman predicted Thunderstorms. We drove 100k to the venue, in rain and lightning wondering what was going to happen.  The weather did clear up a bit here and there.

Here I am, rugged up, waiting for the starting time. We had 24km wind so the run was a bit hard for me but I made it. I even overtook some walkers! It was a new route for me and it was quick.

After the event We went for breakfast in a resort overlooking the beach and pigged out while relaxing.

The organisers had advertised medals for all participants but changed their plan and only the M and HM got medals. Not fair 😡  I got a couple of hats and a bottle instead. They also had fruits which was very helpful.

All in all, it was a great day.

I like running bling. Not that I have any. Wow you're brave, running in thunder and lightening. I draw the line at lightening personally. Well done for your PB. Your chum is looking a bit puzzled there :)

I was worried about the weather at first but did not need to. While running It was grey, a bit of a drizzle here and there, nothing much.  Ben is nearly recovered. Now and again his left leg still goes sideway....

Did Ben do it too?  He looks a little nonplussed in the pic!!!  You, on the other hand, look rather glamorous!

Thank you useitorloseit. No Ben still has problems with his left side. A few more weeks and he will be fully recovered hopefully. He was a spectator and enjoyed million of cuddles from every one.
