Always read the posts but don't post much. This is a picture of my son and me it was my first 10km race and I took40 seconds of my best time thanks to my son encouraging me all the way round. It's still slow but I don't care I loved every minute of it

My time was 1hr 19minutes and 46 seconds.

Hi g1ggles,

Well done to you both! A great picture and you must both have a great sense of achievement. As someone who's currently training for her first 10k I can only say that the time you got is something I can only aspire to at the moment, and it certainly doesn't sound slow to me.
