Best laid plans..

So having completed Couch to 5K in November and done the requisite "consolidation" running I set myself a target at the start of the year to do at least one parkrun a month. I did my first one in January and it went quite well. However the weather then took a turn for the worse and I kept putting off my February attempt until I was left with just one Saturday in February. So I started to look forward to doing the run but then at the beginning of the week I was struck with the most horrendous cough which has lasted all week and left me with no energy for running at all. So sadly February's parkrun has gone by the wayside. What's most amazing about this though is that when I stared C25K I never thought the day would come when I would be gutted about not being able to go out an run. I really hope I can shake this wretched cough off soon so I can get back out there!

Sadly life has a knack of throwing spanners in the works..there's nothing you can do about it if you're sick, just put it behind you and get better soon XX
