This did make me smile! My dog is nearly 14 so I started taking her out in the early weeks but she can't manage it now I'm nearly at 5K. She's even stopped getting excited when I put my trainers on now!!!! Haha! Is your doggy a Border?

She is a border yes 😊 Every time I put my trainers on she looks at me hopefully but I rarely take her on runs because she wants to stop and sniff and pee on EVERYTHING and it kills my pace - but today I just fancied a nice leg stretch and thought I'd take her. She was delighted at first but I think the next time she sees my trainers out she might not look so hopeful. 14 is a good age!

Bless her, I will post a pic of my doggy for you, with my running hat on. She looked decidedly unimpressed I think is the polite way of putting it!!!! xxx

That'll keep her quiet for a couple of hours... :) I used to take Smelly Dog with me, but once the run-walks ended she couldn't keep up. She actually looked peeved that I now outrun her, rather than the opposite.

Ha ha poor Smelly Dog! Yes - we've gone from our usual walk with me constantly having to remind her to 'heel' to her looking a bit pained and me repeatedly saying 'come on!' She is still asleep. It's so peaceful!

Aawwww - so sweet! Why don't I look cute when I'm whacked after a run? Slobbering mess is more my area!
