I've been lurking on the forum for a while, it's really interesting to see people from all walks (runs?!) of life that have decided to take up the C25k and there's great support and encouragement here!
I've just completed w8r2 this morning and am absolutely loving it - and this is coming from someone who did everything NOT to run up until 8 weeks ago. In fact, the last time I ran for any length of time was 20 years ago during compulsory PE lessons at school.
It still feels a bit strange hearing the words "I'm going out for a run" coming out of my mouth but it's a phrase I hope to be using a lot more often!

Congratulations Matthew, almost there now!
I think everybody feels that way at first, I certainly did! And now I can't imagine my life without running in it!
I know, it's mad int it. Here we are, life-long non-runners for the most part, now running religiously several times and week and during winter! Who'd have thought it!
Just make sure you stick with it! Take care, nice and steady, is just fine
Hi Matthew, I think many of us have had similar experiences. I was quite sporty at school and up in to my mid twenties, but then let things slide. This programme has got me back out there (at the age of 50!) and having graduated at the beginning of October, I am now running up to 10k. This programme (as you know) is fantastic and I cannot imagine not running now! Great isn't it? Good luck to you, you are so near to graduating now😀.
