weather looks bad for the weekend!!
That's what I thought, so ran today instead of Saturday, early treat LOL
Yes, brass monkeys for Parkrun, oh well! Will soon warm up when underway!
Well I WAS going to do a parkrun but the howling wind all night and one look outside through the rain-spattered bedroom window at 7 made me change my mind. I am such a wimp...
Yep, it was! For the first ten minutes of my run I wished I'd had gloves on!!!
It was snowing when I got up at 7 AM, just rain now...I'll be going out soon.
It's lovely here, v cold and windy but sunny, so I'll be off in the woods in about an hour ππ½
sounds lovely...how did you do?/
I was freezing this am!! glad i went out though!!

Was perfect, I ran 7 miles on my trail on Sat ( slowly) and then 8 miles today ( even slower!!!). I really enjoyed it. How did you get on???
It was very cold at 05:50 this morning when I went out for my Saturday run and windy but no rain.
well done Matt!! gosh thats early!!
Yes unfortunately I do 2 of my runs before work otherwise I wouldn't have the motivation to go out after work. Lazy I know but the early ones work for me.
Looks fantastic now but the forecast for this morning was horrible and it was windy and cold. Missed going to parkrun but in the end decided to run yesterday instead, glad I did. Hope all the dedicated parkrunners are nice and warm by now
I braved it - when I started it was cold and after 10 minutes the rain came, which turned to sleet. I carried on though and it stopped (still cold though). I was glad a kept going because I managed 10.5km!
Just back from parkrun, oh my gosh it was freezing today! Gloves needed desperately!
I chickened out of parkrun and ran yesterday when the weather was more certain!
It was nice and sunny with a lovely sea breeze this morning. Mmmmmm, beautiful.
lucky you! where are you?

Western Australia. Today my finance minister suggested a picnic in the bush along the Stirling range. I could have a run along the river and brook. Great, except it was minimum 36 degree. No Way! Walked instead. We love the area but so did the snakes, million of flies and billion biting March flies. It is this time of the year.....
Take it from me, it's jolly cold out there!!
The cold is fine... but the wind... what's that about!!! On my long run yesterday I went across open land on the Somerset levels and i could hardly walk let alone run. I kept a brisk walking pace up for a K or so and my heart was still going some so not a wasted walk. Still my overall time was pretty good which was probably a result of having the wind behind me on the way out
