Hi Shannie, remember any run is better than no run and far better to stop than end up injured or feeling ill! Sometimes there is no identifiable reason..sometimes we just have a "bad run day"! Here's hoping the next one is better - bet it will be!

There will always be days when your run doesn't go as planned. Sometimes it's bad but then at other times it's unexpectedly good. We've all had bad days - it doesn't take much to effect your running. Tiredness, everyday stress, even things you aren't aware of. You just have to roll with it and when you hit the road again you'll have a chance to see if you can do better. Keep up the good work. Just think how much you've achieved already!!!

It matters not how far you ran, but that you ran at all.

To paraphrase a little.

Hopefully you're over the disappointed feeling by now. Rather than wishing you'd run further, maybe look at what caused the problem this time and try to prevent it happening again. Was it something you ate, or did you eat too soon before running?

I wouldn't beat yourself up over one run when you are clearly a bit poorly. And you still

Managed a reasonable run before stopping didn't you . Rest up, get better & try another day. You'll be fine x
