When I entered my Yorkshire 10-miler I started a just-giving page to raise sponsorship for the Red-Cross Syrian Appeal. I've never done it before as I don't feel comfortable about asking people for money to support me doing something I enjoy, but hey, let' s be pragmatic about this. I raised £385 for a wonderful cause. If there's a cause you support and you have generous friends why not try it?
