I happened to be talking to a guy from TomTom the other day and he was saying that they did a range of sports watches. Not encountered them myself but he reckoned they were good.

I read this and visualised a laboratory for making chocolate - something like a cross between a chemistry lab and Willy Wonka's factory! I will admit to a little disappointment when I realised what you meant!

Not being one to hang around, I have already sold the Garmin but that was an experiment worth doing.

Sadly, after the syncing problems, it put me off their setup and products so made my watch buying decision that much easier.

This TOMTOM one does away with the need for a chest strap as the HRM is built in.

It arrives Friday and I can't wait !!

Now, time to get out for a run !!
