I finally took an appointment with a physio - and since then my knee has not given any sign of being sore....
Murphy's law???

Murphy's law???
And then, you decide to cancel it and the knee starts hurting again!
That's the way it goes. Great hair day before going to the hairdressers and no toothache before the dentist. These little things are sent to challenge us. Believe me a good physio will bring the pain back in one touch. My physio Adam can put his thumb on my shoulder and produce the most amazing pain where there wasn't any before, it is their magical skill. They will still get to the root of the problem just with touch and questions, don't worry.
My cat is called Murphy, and having motored through all of his lives and still ending up at the vets on a regular basis, he assures you that shit really does happen. So go to the physio, whether or not it feels better.
Maybe you were anxious about it. You get an appointment with the physio and the worry is over. Your mind is set at rest that you will get it sorted. It's the anxiety that tightens everything up. Once that was alleviated your body relaxed
That's my take on it anyway. I am not a doctor obviously. LOL
Glad you're feeling better !!!!
