Have signed up for a 10K in January so have decided to increase distance each run instead of speed and managed both today

Slight hiccup as misjudged distance and had to run past our house a couple of times but felt amazing

A good run and a good pace well done :)

just a word of caution about pushing the distance to much , an increase of 10% of weekly mileage or km's is the norm ...

we are all different and what works for each of us varies .

thanks again for advice and support

Hey that's a really good pace. Good going considering you weren't certain how long the route needed to be too. Good luck increasing to 10k, enjoy exploring other parts of the Wanstead Flats as you progress :)

I run in the Olympic park and up the river Lea. I've also been up to the wanstead flats on bike rides but found the paths very bumpy! I agree its a great area for running, and a great way to discover it is through keeping running different routes :)
