Very excited and nervous for next week, my first event of 2 that I am doing for charity. 12th September is the Great North 5k and 19th September is the Memory 8k walk. If any of you have read any of my posts, my Dad has been my inspiration to run, he ran for years and is something I wish I had taken the time to do with him. He is now very poorly with Alzheimer's and I though I would raise some money in his name for the Alzheimer Society who were a fantastic support to both him and my Mum. Fingers crossed I manage them both.
