So my last post was as I was heading off to holidays, I ran every other day ( along a beachfront which was stunning and so peaceful at 7am!) and completed weeks 5 & 6. I also ran with my brother on a coupe of them which definitely helped when it came to my first 20min stretch as he encouraged me to keep going! I got home and actually found W7 R1 easier in the cooler weather, plus my new running shoes had turned up while I was away and I felt like I was running on clouds!! Worth the investment!
I can't believe that 7 weeks ago I struggled with the 60sec run and now I can do 25mins...it really is an incredible programme!

For someone just arriving from the couch, it's impossible to imagine that somehow or other a programme like this can transform you in such a short time. But it's possible. Just chip away at the difficult weeks (and isn't it weird that it's not the 25 minute runs that are the hardest, but the 60 second and 90 second ones?) and the next thing you know, awa--y you go! Running on clouds. (Well on the good days, but that's most of them, I think).
