Ummm...yeah, thanks for that...I think....! Luckily it's not something I've ever experienced. Maybe that says more about my digestive system than anything!
Thanks for that and yes I have this problem.... Been referred and now trying Imodium before a run, helped loads but hope that eventually my body will adjust. Really strange as currently I only have a problem when I am solo running!
Alex62 I'm new to running, just starting week 8 of C25K and I've had this issue a couple of times. Both were hard runs (probably over doing it), and with my dog attached to a waist belt which - with hindsight - probably doesn't help when he pulls! I've got my first 5K race coming up this weekend and I'm nervous it could happen there! I'm planning to eat 4hrs ahead and avoid coffee for the morning, but just wondering if you found the Imodium useful and, if so, how far ahead did you take it? Also interested to know whether your body has adjusted over time?
