Toilet trouble

Have now completed three consolidation runs, but although I'm enjoying it I've started to 'need number 2s' halfway through. How do others deal with this, it's putting me of running 😔😔

I’ve suffered same problem. Definitely puts me off running too far from home. I tend to stick near by and do circular routes. I’ve copied this link

netdoctor.co.uk/healthy-liv...

Hope it helps 👍

Thanks for that. Very interesting article, I'm so glad it's not just me. I'll try some of the suggestions 🤔

Very useful article.

I definitely never like ever go run before a loo visitation 🚽🧻 it's a natural bodily reaction to all the jiggling caused from running

Drastic solution: Picolax. 🤪🤣

It's like liquid dynamite for the guts.

(No, I'm not in the remotest bit serious.)

Yes, but only to the nearest loo.

If you want to read an amusing account on a cycling forum of a Scouser who was to go in for a endoscopy and had to take some, search for "Agent Picolax Singletrack". Do not drink tea or coffee while you read it.

Ugh! 🤢🤮

Really struggled to swallow that stuff .. was told I could dilute with clear liquid such as lemonade to dilute the taste.... all it meant was instead of having a tiny bottle of stuff to drink that I now had a pint glass of vile stuff 🤢

It’s disgusting 🤮

And I’ve just read the fellow scouser’s tale...

trust me - he’s not alone.. it truly is like that!

Tho reading his words he did make it sound funny..it’s really not a fun procedure 🙈🤣

I’ve had exactly the same. Its then caused me to have panic attacks whilst running. I spoke to a colleague who is very experienced in running, she said it happens to most people!

I don’t go until I have ‘been’, but still find myself thinking I need to go mid run.

I dont have any advice, but just wanted to say I have been there too!
