I do!! I have 12 weeks to my first HM, I am looking at training plans!

How important is cross training/ joga etc?

I currently run 1 x 30 mins intervals, 1 x 5-6 km and one long run ( so far longest was just under 18k) per week.

Would appreciate advice tia x

Cross Training is great. I've been introduced to it various times. Never been a huge fan of it. However it is great, you use not only your legs when you run. A strong core is crucial as well as having great balance. They are great bonuses. I would recommend it. First thing first, make sure to put all focus on your endurance training for your first HM. I wish you the best in your H.M. you will do great

Thank you! I hope so!!

What a generous offer to help us C25K would be runners.

I broke my toe ( little one on right foot) 10 days ago. It is strapped to the next toe. My question is should I be exercising? and if so what should i be doing and when can I get back to running?

Thanks

Did you get official diagnosis it is a broken toe? Never exercise on a broken toe, now if it is pain free, Do very little. You want to play it safe. Since you broke your little toe, it shouldn't bring a lot of pain. Take 5 more days off. You do not start losing fitness until day 14-15 of consecutive days of. You'll be fine. Hope you have a speedy recovery

hiya its about my job im wanting to get out to work but just part time can you tell me what you or anyone else did to decide what to do

Explain a bit more? What do you mean job?

i want to find a job but i dunno what to do cos i was a nursery nurse n need to change that now

Yes I went to hospital where they xrayed it and confirmed it was broken, Its not painful and the swelling has gone down a lot. What about swimming? After 5 more days what do you suggest I do exercise wise?

Thanks for your help

I suggest swimming only if pain free. After 5days I suggest easy running on grass, 10 minutes the first day Ice after,15min next day. Build into it bus keep icing after for a good week
