Best of luck, you can do it I promise.
I have been there, I hated running but this programme sets you little milestones, and at the time you think they are impossible, but if you stick to it you will be amazed at what you can do.
Trust us all when we say you will get there and you will LOVE it.
Good luck Prim! It's a brilliant programme. Take it at your own pace and enjoy each little victory x
Never liked running ..........that could be applied to most people who attempt C25k, and a huge proportion are amazed at how, in just a few weeks, they are absolutely hooked and then find they can do things that they would never have believed were possible. It will be hard work, but you will learn so much about yourself and your own abilities.
Prepare to be amazed. Good luck.
Good luck. If you find it tough, slow down, and keep trying, you'll succeed. It's easy to start in a flat out run, that's not sustainable so set off slow !
Welcome to our lovely forum. You'll find motivation, inspiration and a host of good wishes here. Before long you'll be suffering from CRAPAS... Couch-to-5k Running and Posting Addiciton Syndrome. On your running days you'll read these posts and write about your progress, and on non-running days you'll read these posts and wish you were running.
Post often, and let us cheer you along. Good luck! And don't wait 'til Monday. Go out now!!!
I think most people are scarred from school PE running lol i know i was. Just get started at your own pace and own every run. You'll love running very soon, you win lots of small battles over the weeks that really boost your confidence.
Welcome and the best of luck. I thought I wouldn't be able to do this when I felt sick at first after short runs. I can easily run for 40 mins now and love it! I feel fitter, body shape is better and I'm not needing to use inhalers. It's win win.
Good Luck for all the runs that lie in front of you.
