Week 5 started.

After a false start yesterday when I was beaten back by the wind and rain, I managed W5R1 this morning.

I was so happy I managed all 3 x 5 minute runs without stopping.

A few twinges in my calves but nothing major, so my stretching routine is paying off dividends. I always had a fear of injury, which is probably why I stayed on the couch for so long, but now I know it's not then end of the world, and with patience and determination it is possible to get right back up and go again.

Oh well done. I am planning to do this run tomorrow. I'm nervous. It's nice to see others who are at the same level.

Was it as hard as I think it's going to be?

I was quite fearful of his one. But, since you already ran for 5 minutes in week 4 and you get a 3 minute break between runs in week 5, it was surprisingly achievable.

All the best for your week.
