Well..i was dubious about going but i went to running club tonight ..and didn't expect to but actually enjoyed it!! AND (its a big and!) Me and my neice actually ran back up quite a long, slow, legs dying hill after doing all sorts of relay running, sprinting and interval running round a big field...and we still had a sprint left in us at the very end ...so yes im quite chuffed with that, was a good evening at the office☺ and it made a really nice change to running there and back if you see what i mean?! 😜so yes i think i will go back for more torture next week.

Good for you. You never know til you try do you. I go to jog group, which is an informal group, unlike a running club which is more serious. That's not to say I wouldn't mind joining a running club as they do a good job

Oooh, running club. Sounds like you had a great time! That must be kind of daunting, though. Was it full of people who can talk whilst they run? Don't go intimidating newbies by sprinting past them on their first runs, huh:-)
