I hope so...what keeps me going is the thought of going out for my joggette in beautiful sunshine gliding along like a gazelle looking fresh as a daisy(l like similies) and people(of which there are none where I run) gazing adoringly as I pass wishing they were me......zzzzzzzz oh sorry I dozed off there for a minute and was dreaming....by the way I used your name earlier( all good honest).I recommended running tights!!!

Oh dear lol! That sounds much worse than the drenching I had this morning. Hope the weather improves for you but good job on keeping going! Especially if you are in danger of shark attacks :o

Well done you.... It build mental strength...but I agree it's a a tough time of year, but so is Summer in the blistering heat!!!!

The winter wins for me, for that reason. At least when it's cold, you can keep warm. In the searing heat the best you can do is pour water over yourself!

Well done on getting Week 6 completed, Pot. Spring will be here before you know it! :-)

I agree with that- heat is hard. However getting motivated to run in winter is hard. The best time of year is spring and autumn! ,

Snap

You are gong to be SO ready for the spring. If you can get the hard work done now you will really be able to enjoy yourself when the weather gets a bit better

It's all part of Laura's plan, where are you? Week 6? Yes you have to wrestle the shark to the ground. and still complete the podcast...

If you wear a hat and a lightweight waterproof running jacket, long pants, you don't get wet through as it all runs off

I'd rather run in cold than the heat of summer (well, I say "heat") Ha ha, we should be so lucky

That has just made me chuckle!! I went out and my run On Wednesday and my path had man made puddles I was scared I didnt know what to do so I stopped.considered my options and decided to leap over it! But I actually had to stop plus I couldnt have any more wet sand splashing onto my trainers and marking them.dont get me wrong I can run in the rain and go through puddles but here puddles are rare creatures and often man made which only hang about for a few hours before disappearing into the sky.

Sorry a little rant there.

I have moaned lots about the heat so it's only right you can moan about gale force winds and torrential rain! How you run with the wind at full force I just don't know.
