And finally the new go faster canoes are here. As is apparent tradition I enclose a picture of them direct out of the box.

The colour is is definitely going to add a few miles an hour and a little better than my trail trainers when hitting the pavement. Hopefully going to give them a test ride in the morning.

Just to point out that they are hi viz orange and not pink. Just had this brought to my attention on face book. I'm not known for wearing colours other than black, shades of black or desert tan.

But it they were pink I would make it manly.

I am happy to report that they have now had their first run out this morning. I only went for a short 15 mins (about a mile and a half) run but I am really happy with them. Far more suited for running around the village I live in.

Still need a little breaking in and my feet are not fully used to them but I'll get out later and go for a walk in them.
