Parkruns on YouTube!

Some parkruns are on YouTube so you can get an idea of the actual course before you turn up (very good for newbies like me and takes the uncertainty away).

Just type in Parkrun routes or the name of your local one and see if it's there. I've already seen Southampton, Preston, Chippenham, Cambridge, Newbury, Ipswich, Milton Keynes!

Good luck everyone for your Parkrun tomorrow.

Haha looked up the Ipswich one and got really excited about how lovely it looked, until I realised it was Ipswich, Australia! ;)

let us know how you get on mw and make sure you wear your bling - run like a bat out of hell

Ooo, thanks for this. Not done a parkrun yet but just looked up the Arrow Valley and got a good idea of what to expect. Very useful.

Thank you for posting this, it was really helpful. I've just looked at the Darley Abbey run and decided it's not for me yet! There's a nasty hill in it which you have to do not once, but twice, and it comes at the end of the second lap - not kind :( Also, much of it is on grass so I think I'll put it off until late Spring now. More time to get my 5k times a bit more solid!

This is very useful as I am keen to go to the Southampton Park Run as soon as I have a Sat morning free!! Thank you!

I looked up the Plymvalley one which is near me. Enjoyable to watch, but I think I'll wait until I graduate and progress to running 5K unlike the brave guys in this one.
