Last week I was ill so coudn't run at all and today I tryed week 8 run 1 again and I did it! I thought I wouldn't be able to do it but I run for 28 minutes non-stop. It wasn't easy though. I run on a treadmill because where I live it's too hot to run outside but I get bored when I run, any advices?

I haven't tried this yet but I have been looking at downloading some audiobooks onto my phone as I am not a massive music fan but loved audio cassette stories when I was younger.

I've been toying with that idea as I'm not one for listening to music on a run.

I run outside but I use zombie run. It's like an unfolding audio book and I love it!

I do Zombie Run too and it also works on the treadmill. If you choose "Accelerometer" then it uses your phone like a pedometer and estimates yoru distance based on steps. It's not very accurate but works well enough.

The gym I use has tv so I spent a lot of time reading subtitles, if I remember my glasses :) if I have to use a treadmill too far away or forget my glasses I listen to audio books. Hope you find something that works for you :)

I try and position myself on a treadmill where I can watch the world go by, either the stairs, a window, or near the free weights area ;) ! I'm lucky in that my gym has treadmills with individual TV screens, so if all else fails I try to find something on the TV. Like the idea of audiobooks though - might look into that once I graduate.
