(Friday) Wow, a day at the seaside. I sort of wish the elf could have come. She was quite fun. Next time I'm prevailed upon to tend to someone's ADC for the day we'll do that. Must get some The Dozz-ville Challenge Award For The Discombulated practise in. I will ask about the bike this weekend!

Who's the elf - did I miss her? I hope not cos I always liked elves - remember reading and re-reading Enid Blyton and the Faraway Tree. Or was that Mr Moonface? Anyway, fingers crossed that your neighbour is a relaxed kind of guy and sees the value in what you are doing - and agrees to give you a loan of his bike. I am planning of tackling the Tri next week.

Elf was a couple of days ago -

(Wednesday) No athletics training yesterday - instead given and instructed to entertain an ADC for the day. Crikey! What do you do with young ADC's? Decided a long walk across a car park and around the inside of local shopping centre followed by lunch, cinema and further walk would probably suffice.

Luckily apart from the mild moan about distance covered it went well at not too great a cost - an ELF OUTFIT AND OVER-SIZED TEDDY. Did feel a bit daft though.

Thanks for that, don't like to think I've missed an Elf experience. Sounds like you had a good day. Important to re-charge your batteries and try new things. I like the lego man too, but I am now wondering what you might replace him with. I am so lazy with these things I've been on this site a year and never changed the icon. Maybe one day
