620 has turned up. I've fully charged it and set the profile. Trouble is I did 6 miles this morning. So tempted to try a little run around the block rather than wait until Saturday ;-(

Exciting stuff indeed! I took mine for a walk as I had also just run....not on a lead though :-)

Might give it a go but our garden wouldn't take long to jog round ;-)

Don't quote me but the latest Garmin Express program might be what you need. It runs in the background on my PC and syncs automatically when I connect my 220 to the USB port.

Yep have downloaded it and created a couple of workouts that i've uploaded to the watch. Going to have a little stroll this evening

Take it for a lovely long walk, there's nothing saying it has to be a run :)

Enjoy your shiny new Garmin! They always arrive just after a run, so you have to wait until the next before you can use it properly! :-(

Yes I do too despite my recent whining about the software support from Garmin

They are great little gadgets! I like the virtual pacer best. It's really useful as is the auto pause function.

This one just kind of snaps into place as it has a magnet

Thanks all. So I took it for a couple of miles stroll and it is fabulous. Probably should have read the manual but real men don't do that. So it buzzed a couple of times after I had set off and on the second time I caught it saying power off. Oops so I now realize I have to select run and press a button to start. A lot more successful after I had it started I love the play your run on myconnect so you can see cadence, heart rate, hills etc. Looking forward to a proper run tomorrow
