I think I could reach 4k-ish in the final week? Normal?

Hey surbhidec24 - you do what you do. There is no "Specified" distance each of us should cover because we are all different weights, shapes, sizes etc. The thing is, you ran for 28 minutes. If you keep doing that your muscles and joints will get stronger, your aerobic fintess level will increase and you will run further AUTOMATICALLY!

Don't fret with "did I cover enough distance" etc at this stage of C25K. Get the badge and then start your life changing running regime of three times per week.

Simples!

Totally agree with everything danzargo says - he knows what he's talking about . I was doing 3k in 28 mins wk 8 but then did a parkrun before graduation and managed to run whole 5k in 38min37 secs which I was over the moon with. Just complete the next 5 runs and get your graduation badge without worrying about your speed The programme works and you can build on speed later if you want You will feel so chuffed when you complete your first 30 min run regardless of the distance Good luck
