Do you know, I hadn't really thought about it in terms of short term and long term goals. Generally my goals are to make it through to the next week without having to repeat any runs, and to make it through the current run without walking when I should be running. Suppose I should think up a proper long term goal. Race for Life possibly?? Good luck with both your goals x

Yes I think I would like to do Race For Life , not sure when its on, I will have to have a look at that x

Race for Life seems to be in mid June, so that could definitely be my new long term goal. Perhaps I should enter now and start getting sponsors so I can't bottle out!

Short term: get through C25k and be able to run the five miles each way to work and back at least three times a week.

Long term: to run the Great Ethiopian Run in November next year (10k) and to do the French Riviera Marathon in November 2016. :-)

Thanks Poppypug; have a feeling I'll need it!

Short term goals: Finish the programme, compete in R4L in June, encourage new people on this programme.

Mid term goals: Improve my distance so doing 5K comfortably and improve speed . Get a couple more 5K events under my belt.

Long term: This is not running related but would love to train as a Pilates instructor.

Cheers everyone.
