W9R2 what went wrong :(

I attempted my second W9 run yesterday and did struggle, I have always managed to run through the struggles but yesterday I stopped after 25 mins. I was disappointed as I know I can do the 30 mins but I know 25 mins is still an achievement. My problem is I'm not sure what went wrong! I did think my breathing wasn't so good but I shall carry on and complete week 9.

  • I have graduated, and my distance is up to 6km. I still sometimes do a run where I have to stop, and occasionally a run I have to abandon completely for one reason or another. It's frustrating but now I know if it happens it's not stopping me being a runner - it's only stopped that run. Shrug it off as a bad day and next time you go out will be better.

  • Have a rest for a day or two and then go out and conquer that run. Sometimes a run doesn't work out and there is no rhyme or reason for it. It's just one of those things that happens. Good luck on your next attempt and my best wishes to you.

  • How was your pace? Could you possibly have started off too fast?
