Hello good people of the forum I'd like to share with any unwitting reader who stumbles across this post I have completed 9 weeks run 3 of this wonderful programme. I'm landed !! Chuffed amazed and relieved. Now the work real motivation begins let battle commence.
I ve run in hailstones (ouch), lightning probably made me run faster ( funny that ), I've had wonderful older ladies tut at me ( very British ), I've had a run away puppy follow me all the way down to the main road which i then had to drop off at our local police station, I've slipped on chips ( ironically chips have played a role in my need to run ).
I've avoided more dog poo than I could shake a stick at! And my lovely family spurring me on with "well dones" and so on.
So I just wanted to paint a picture of the journey (sorry using X factor vernacular) so I d like to send out a mental hug/high five/pat on the back/a firm hand shake to me fellow runners may we all continue to run free over slippery manholes leap over pot holes dodge the dog do and tut back at the older ladies !!!

Well done kags! We can identify with all that! I nearly trod on a frog the other day and it kept hopping and I ended up doing some tribal-looking dance to avoid squashing it. Thankfully we have a dearth of chips on the ground hereabouts but plenty of dog cack.
