Wow. At the end of my 3rd run on week 1 I felt on top of the world however coming back from my first run of week 2- ow. I really felt defeated. Didn't help that it was really muddy and I kept sliding. Back to it on Tuesday. Will just keep going, and going. I want to be healthy. X

Sounds like a minor blip, probably related to conditions, so don't despair! I did W2R1 earlier today also - I definitely felt the extra 30s on the rest compared to last week - not really bad but a few times when I kept thinking "how much longer?". The fact that you want to "keep going, and going" is most of the battle. I feel exhilarated when when I get back home after each run (slightly less so when the aches and tweaks in various part of body set in later in the day!).

You do get days where it isn't as easy, but on the days you do well, it's such a wonderful feeling! Just don't let the not so good days defeat you. You are out there and running. Well done

You are still at an early stage and C25k slowly builds the demands on your body, so it will be challenging, but you did it, so keep going and in just a few weeks you WILL be running for 30 minutes non stop. I usually run off road but am spending more and more time on roads because of the mud, which really saps your strength. Good luck.
Just keep at it, you really will see an improvement quickly. Keep looking at the forum and you will see from so MANY peoples experiences that you will go forward. Well done for running in the mud!
