well... I think I will have to do this one again! I had to stop further away today for two reasons. One was that my parking spot was taken. the other... There were 7 or 8 Buzzards above me and I wanted to watch them (there are three in the pic below of the view from my start / finish line). I struggled again today. I managed 6.5 mins uphill. I started earlier so the hill was longer. I did my walk at which point I got to the highest point on my trail (didn't get down the other side like normal). then it was downhill all the way back. I covered the distance back of even part of my warm up walk which meant I had to keep walking past my car!!! and then back! I'm not disheartened. I'm determined to keep going on this route. Attempt 3 is Monday morning. Watch this space!

Where I live there aren't many hills. There's the odd one or two. I'm not attempting hills until I'm feeling a lot fitter. What a fantastic view. Just think of the rewards and how you'll feel once you it. Good luck for next run.
