Okay okay I admit it, after week 5 run 3, (the big ol' 20 minutes) I didn't do any of the plan for three weeks!

I've just done week 6 run 2 today and it was TOUGH. Now I'm wondering how I'm going to survive 25minutes on Sunday! Serves me right for being so naughty!! Someone give me support :( haha

Also, does anyone have an armstrap for their iPod or mp3? I recently bought one and my headphones wire just hangs and gets in the way..what can I do with it!? It's so distracting but there's no where to tuck it?

It's so easy to let things slip isn't it? You could give the 25mins a go - you might surprise yourself. I didn't run for 2 weeks then did 28min. What's the worst that can happen?! If you can't do it then you could maybe go back to week 5 but you might as well try it or you might be going back for no reason. That's what I would do. Good luck!

Ok so you have the last run of week 6 coming up. As far as I can remember that's the last of the stop start runs ?

Great excuse to get it over with so you can go back to running straight through without walking breaks.

If you have made it this far then it would be silly to give up now.

Just get yourself back out there and be really determined to finish the run - you can do it.

If you get really stuck, just imagine a few of us cheering you on as you run.

Should do the trick :)

Tuck the 'extra' wire into your bra. Works for me!

Try week 6 run 3, if too much, repeat week 5.....and good luck!

If I tuck the wire into clothing, I feel like I'm tugging out my earphones if I turn my head. I just let it dangle but loop it round my thumb and hold it loosely so it doesn't slap against me.

As for the run? Yeah give it a try. You've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Even if you do end up repeating some, it's still progress and you're still building stamina and fitness.

This will sound odd, but I find the armstrap is more comfortable if you wear it upside down (so the wire is coming out of the top of it instead of the bottom). That also allows you to tuck something small, like a key, in with your iPod and it can't fall out (if it's the same design as mine).

Re the strap - mine has a pull up Velcro flap to wrap excess wire round.
