You need to put your post code in the search box on the right hand side. It is good for the UK races and you should find something to plan for! Good luck

Although it is good the NHS gives us a link to this listings site it is a very incomprehensive list. It shows about six races for my post code for the rest of 2013 and all of 2014! I know there were many more than that.

Check one of the more established running event listings, eg Scottish Running Guide, Northern Running Guide or Southern Running Guide.

Find a Race has as many if not more events. Running Guides also list events in the US and Europe whereas Find a Race only includes events in the UK.

Hmm, doesn't list parkrun though...

Find a Race doesn't currently list parkruns as there are so many of them (235 and counting) that they would dominate the search results to the detriment of other events. So they have a link to parkrun on the Find a Race site to encourage users to go there directly to find their local run. A better tie-in is in the offing though so watch this space...
