Running shoes

Anybody else had trouble finding the right running shoes?

I went to sweatshop and had gait analysis carried out. They were really helpful and recommended a range of trainer that suited me. I tried them on and the cheapest one was the one that was the most comfortable.

I definitely recommend gait analysis. I went to a local shop not one of the chains but they took so much time to make sure I had the right shoes, and then told me that if I didn't get on with them to take them back and they would find something different. Okay, I paid £90 instead of the £30 I'd paid for the pair I started in - but hey, all my feet and leg problems mysteriously vanished as well
