Does anyone run with a head torch? Is it a pain or do you find it useful? Thanks in advance

I do, because I have no choice. I use my husbands that he has for his bike and I must admit I don't really notice its there....

I'm slightly concerned that it'll make me feel a bit sick/spaced out because the light is moving! I think I'll be relieving my husband of his then I can give it a go, thanks for getting back to me :)

I know what you mean, but I have found it OK, you just have to angle it properly to see enough ahead of you...yes get your husbands off him!!!!

I've yet to run in the dark so can't comment on the use of a head torch. However I was lucky enough to find a baseball type cap in the sale with has 3 LED lights fitted into the peak. Fingers crossed it does the job. Don't forget to let us all know how you get on with the head torch at the weekend.

I've run with the Cyclops and it's not something you notice, apart from obviously the big spotlight in front of you. Mine is elastic, comfortable and hopefully doesn't make me look like an extra from Dr. Who. Try it. You'll probably be too busy running to notice :-)

I have so far done one run with a head torch and it was ok. I felt safer. Will go out with my head torch again tonight :)

I hadn't thought about this as I've only been running for six weeks... but I'll have to do this as I live in an unlit area. Good thought to be prepared. I'll also have to embrace luminous wear as there are occasional cars that expect to have the lane to themselves. Thanks. I'll prepare!

Not using head torch yet but when I have to I will also be sporting a red light (old, round, flat one which has a steady or intermittent flash) attached by a clip to my collar, or back pocket so that I'm also seen from behind, as well as having the fluorescent bits on my clothing. Sounds a bit like a Christmas tree :-) !
