Week 9 Run 2 and 1st injury Oh No!

Whilst doing week 9 run 1 I started to feel a pain in my groin area. I continued to run and got to the end. The leg however was painful for the rest of the day.The following day it was much better although I did have the odd twinge whilst out walking.

Yesterday I went out for my w9/r2 run and all was well until about a mile in then the leg started to play up again.

I'm gutted as I was really looking forward to graduating on Tuesday. I'm going to go swimming today, cut down on my walking (I do walk a lot) and just generally rest. Any other advice would be great. Is this a common injury if so what is it?
